but then again who can even develop these kind of coins? - very few developers its seems and 1.5 BTC to those people is nothing. Take people like smooth who is able to code these types of coins for example. It is said his day job pays 500K + per year. I would expect CZ is on similar wages or projects that pay similar are taking up his time. The only way to get these coders to help is to give them big slices of the coins minting else it wont be worth their time coding here.
It should have been not just a coin, but big project that can put aside cryptonote itself, boolberry protocol can be implemented to improve speed and pruning blockchain which many coin suffer from(huge blockchain and syncing time)
