What if World War 3 breakout ?
Do you expect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to go down in price ? As people will swtich to hard cash or gold?
Note : There are wide power outages, servers getting down, no electrictiy and everything bad you can expect if WW3 happens
If this day happens, and I don't hope that this will happen, then the Bitcoin will die because the Bitcoin needs the internet to be used.
I think that everyone will start to use cash and gold as a way to pay for things.
sure but cash need internet too, because they need to account how many coin you have in your bank account, and to do this they need connection, you can't just go to the nearest atm and take your cash, cash would be just paper without value if internet go down pretty much like everything else, gold would be a choice, but it's not easy to carry around a great amount of money with gold
I suppose you have never owned gold, gold is very easy to carry around that is why it was chosen as money by almost any civilization in the world, you can carry hundreds of thousands of dollars in your pockets.
