@bdonlan, Regardless of what you have done in the past Doge Dice is not a judge nor a jury and have no say in what you do with your funds. On legal grounds you have the right to sue them for your property and at this amount it is a felony theft in most places.
@Doge Dice, your options legally are this. Have him withdraw his funds and then ban his account if you don't want him there, or unlock his funds and let him play.
I don't care what peoples opinions are, the basic fact of the matter is Doge Dice does not have any legal basis to steal his property or disburse his property how they see fit. I would sue the living fuck out of them if they did this to me.
We have. He broke our ToS, we are allowed to close account and seize funds.
Regards,
Alex.
You can't just steal someones property because you feel like it. Name the law your ToS are based on. I can name a dozen laws from multiple countries where this is illegal. It is called theft.
In the jurisdictions where we are located - Costa Rica, we are allowed to do this. This IS the law. There's nothing to discuss here, it's solid. And for your information currently there's no decision has been made. That's why this topic exists in the first place.
Regards,
Alex.
The decision has already been made, you are just using this forum as a patsy in case you do take them. You can then say it wasn't your decision but this forums.
I know for a fact I will never use your services though, what with it being perfectly legal for you to steal my money whenever you feel like it.
The reference to which law allows you to just steal someones funds is important.
You ignore the fact that I was his victim 2 years ago. He committed a felony crime.
Regards,
Alex.
I haven't ignored it, it has nothing to do with you taking his funds. If you failed to press charges on him for his crimes in the past then that is your fault.
Your excuse for freezing his funds at the time you did so was because of his crimes in the past. Not because he broke your ToS, that is just bullshit you added on later.
If you think those funds were gained or used for nefarious purposes then you can notify the authorities with your suspicions and evidence and then they will ask you to freeze his funds pending investigation.
Otherwise, either ban him and return his funds or continue as is in the hopes he loses them to you legally.
1. Exactly, a new excuse for why he's taken the funds comes up every page of this thread.
2. No, they weren't, and I invite alex to notify the authorities and lodge an investigation of the funds in bitdice currently if he really wants to waste the authorities time and resources.
