the news about Japan has been the biggest news so far if you ask me, because all these other small companies (Microsoft ) are just companies but Japan has just accepted bitcoin as a real "currency" and they are doing it as a country which means the way is open for the whole country and a whole lot of businesses and companies to start accepting and working with bitcoin.
