All that James Volpe did was take money....

Nobody is denying he took money but the fact that he is a theif does not give Bit Dice the right to confiscate his funds just because they hold them.

The Pharmacist said it best, this community is so dishonest its disgusting. This shouldn't even be a topic.

Stealing his funds for stealing others is not honest, its pure stupidity.
Volpe had no investment losses, he outright stole money from others.

If Alex believes that James does not rightfully own the funds deposited into his bitdice account then I see nothing wrong with preventing James from being able to Launder that money, and making efforts to return such money to it's rightful owner.

Someones belief should never dictate any outcome or result of anything. How is Alex, you, or anyone else for that matter, to ever know whether or not he 'rightfully owns' his BTC?

But of course you would be okay with cheating people of their money, you yourself have been found guilty of doing it with your escrow con.
You are confusing what someone 'believes in' with what someone 'believes'. In order for Alex to first process a withdrawal, he will first need to believe that user has a sufficient account balance to cover the withdrawal.

Good judgement based on the available facts can be used to determine if someone has a lawful right to money claimed to be theirs.

Ad hominem attacks are a sign of a weak argument.
