If you are a veteran in stock market then the answer is yes. In stock market everything affects the market, it maybe the weather, political and social condition, economic movement and many more. Bitcoins price increasing is an economic movement and the rise of bitcoin may just caused some decrease on the users and sales on stock market. Bitcoin possibly has attracted the stock traders to also invest on bitcoins.

The OP is not asking the correlation of the price of bitcoin and share market ,i would say a big no as there is no correlation between the two markets.But when it comes to the stock exchange we have to take each and every aspect of the global market and each and every global situations will effect the stock market and that is the main difference between the two.
