edit: this guy has show me evidence of correspondence with Volpe from ~2 years ago, and his claim is no longer a 100% bs scam attempt

I don't see why the funds would need to be released to you directly. If you are going to reimburse those who you stole from, I see no reason why Alex can't reimburse your victims directly
