Why does alex need to mediate my business? He was never involved in it in the first place until he involved himself. I will sort my own business out. I pay my debts to those who have no involvement in my games.
I think the reasoning is that you can't be trusted to pay your debts, or you would have paid them already. The only leverage anyone has over you is that Alex is holding 38 BTC of yours. If he was to return them to you what incentive would you have to repay your debts?

Do you mean the one where you ask "Do you have chat history for mid 2015?"? I do. Do you have specific search terms? There's quite a lot of chat history.
To eliminate conflict of interest, I think Bitdice should make a pledge not to keep any of the bitcoin in question regardless of the outcome of your investigation.
Perhaps send them to an escrow (like dooglus?) and make the address public. The funds should not move from address until a decision is made.
