If this coin is going to be more anonymous than DASH could it be as big or even bigger than DASH ? Are there any reasons why it couldn't ? put it that way.
Technology alone doesn't dictate a product's success nor its price.
It's up to the marketing / business / community to make it succeed.
But having better tech does make it easier to sell.
