Getting bitcoin is definitely not for earning only because if all of us are earing there will not people that will be spending which would not be realistic IMO. In general people will not get bitcoin because they feel it's not simple to learn, without a reputable person that will explain to them, they will not believe on it and if they will not believe they will not use it.
Because it is actually hard to learn. People expect that things are just really really easy about bitcoins. They think it's a currency on the Internet, so what? When they try to actually understand the whole thing and they start seeing technical words like nodes, and blocks. They start backing off as if they've made the biggest mistake of their life.
Our chance is to see the recognition of the government, the ETF application which was recently disapprove is suppose to be a good thing to increase awareness of the people if it was approved, but unfortunately seems like it's not the right time yet.
I don't think ETF will directly do that. ETF is there for investors that are too afraid to invest and don't understand the whole process of bitcoins. Basically people that are too lazy to read and learn the whole bitcoin thing before they invest. SMH.
