Obviously people want the ability back to underclock. I've been mining for nearly 6 years now. It is extremely useful in so many scenarios. It makes 0 sense and is incredibly short sighted to defend removal of the feature.
True, it's very shortsighted of them to not cater to the wants of < 1% of their consumer base. What are these people thinking by gearing their software towards the needs of those that buy 500-1,000 units at a time? 
How did you determine less than 1% of Antminer owners have underclocked their units?
