My dear Zechariah, I have been giving thought to your idea of the submit scheme, and your recent writings on the subject had me reassured as to the intent. Listening to what others have to say is always a good disposition of mind, even though this of course does not imply agreement or otherwise. And as you know I've been often ready to listen to you, and give my opinion as well. As such, I think it'd be good if we can agree on a formal recognition that we will listen to each other. I am therefore ready to submit to you (level 1), if you will do so to me under the same terms as you proposed. I trust someone of the light understands that one always has to keep the final decision on one's actions, and so the last item of your conditions is not agreeable to me. Although it is my expection that your would not ask unreasonable things, judgement over reasonableness can be a subjective and fickle thing, as you can well understand, so I will submit to level 1, and only request the same.
1. Listening to what I say, especially when I am talking to you;
2. If I ask anything that is reasonable, let's make a deal that you do it either
* out of love for me (just do it), or
* out of love for yourself (we can make a deal what I give you in return, for doing it);
3. If something is not reasonable, you just refuse to do it, no hard feelings, I'll ask someone else or do it myself;
4. If something just needs to be done, and you are the only one who has the key, just do it (, before I have to prod you).
