The recent dumbass panic selling crash happened shortly after I switched my client to mBTC display. (It's back to BTC now.) I jinx everything, I can assure you. 
And shortly after i finally downloaded a mobile ticker app so i know when its time to sell my first coins. (will sell a really small percentage at 250-300euro)
I guess it was both triggered by Bitcoin beeing worth too much too early
