As the indian market price of BTC is so high than the exchange price in foreign countries, there is lot of potential to make profits.

You can very well do that and there is no rules to restriction to avoid these types of trades and people are doing these sort of transactions to earn money from the price difference in different exchanges,good luck with that and it is legal as long as you are using your own money.
