WHAT IS DASCOIN MINTING?
Minting is the process of creating and disseminating DasCoin. Unlike Bitcoin which is mined, DasCoin is issued in exchange for units of stored capacity within the DasNet called Cycles. In order to redeem DasCoin, Cycles are submitted into a Minting Queue, which operates on a first-in-first-out basis, that returns an amount of DasCoin proportional to the frequency associated with the Cycles at their time of acquisition. Only a total of 8.5 billion units will ever be minted!
