Yeah I agree that's actually a really big problem in my country also there are basically no local or online stores where we can buy using bitcoins luckily I found a few traders on local bitcoin buying at a higher rate. And normally we don't see any stores which accept gold for making payments so it kind of makes sense.
There are some local stores now that accepting bitcoin as payment method here in my country there are actually working on it starbucks is one of them are other online stores that accept bitcoin but if theres an sm supermarket that will accept bitcoin as payment method then that would be great for sure to anyone who using bitcoin.

Many people can not use their bitcoins for this reason. But I hope that soon the situation will change and there will be a lot of shops where they accept crypto currency
They're some store that start accepting bitcoin as payment but hoping that it will be implemented world wide where we can easily use bitcoin not to exchange into fiat for days .But mainstream is we use digital currency as investment we choose this than using gold as investment. Our country where we can use bitcoin to pay bills also without fee's and you can earn charge back depends on your bill

I do not think the bitcoin will be used widely in stores. It is too slow to transact at the moment.
Today, this is even unrealistic. The first obstacle is that businessmen will not be able to report their income to the tax inspectorate, because there is no procedure for reporting the financial transfers of bitcoins. And secondly, bitcoin has a very small percentage of popularity. And this greatly affects the use of it in stores every day.
