It is free from any kind of obligation... you dont have to do it every day, you can do it when ever you feel in a mood for it, you dont have to invest anything, you dont have any worries about will you do it right or so on...

Faucets and PTC sites are good for people from economically poor countries, where $10 practically worth a lot more then in America.

Personally, I still use Faucets and PTC sites, because I do it in my spare time. When I need to rest from everyday activities and duties, I sit by my computer and then (since I want to rest, not to work) I like to do something that useful but not taking any effort.
