Thanks, but I don't know what a "Live CD" is.
I burnt the UBUNTU 12.10 iso file to a DVD start-up disc and want to use it in the "Try Out" mode (as I'm using now).
Unfortunately, my PC is not capable of booting from a USB drive. That's why I have to use a DVD start-up disc.
It seems that UBUNTU 12.10 already has PYTHON Qt-4 installed, but not PYTHON PIP.
If I open the UBUNTU Terminal and put in "sudo pip install
http://download.electrum.org/download/Electrum-1.7.3.tar.gz" it says "sudo: pip: command not found"
How do I install PYTHON PIP on the DVD start-up disc, or is this not possible?
Any further thoughts or comments?
Steve
