I strongly believe you can do both the selling and holding(waiting) of bitcoins, and at the same time grow your holding & make a profit from it.
If current price is giving you good profits then you can sell some of your bitcoins to accumulate profits and if you are not satisfied with the price then its better to hold them for the future or else use some of them in trading to grow your coins in a faster way.
