I understand what you mean. Since no information is available about the ICO whatsoever, should we consider the coin dead already? Or we are just hoping for something to happen from nowhere?
Yes it's dead but it's easy to pump due to low market cap and almost zero inflation. Zcash and similar coins now offer anonynous messages and transactions, also cryptonote sucks compared to ZK-snarks. Being able to send messages is a very nice feature though but the reality is that all cryptonote sucks and will die eventually(90% probability).
Interesting points. Many users complaining from Zcash trojans and hacks. Maybe better to stick to ETH for its reputation and value.
