Taking a dissenting position against an argumentum ad populum (an accepted belief that one person should be rewarded the same amount as someone that has literally invested more) is in no way an argumentum ad hominem. Since we're playing the Latin game, might I suggest you look up "reductio ad ridiculum" (you would stand a much better chance at attempting to assert that claim, but I can shoot that down too
