Buybacks are a bad move compared to dividends..
Why on earth would you think so?
NuShares did something similar and it ended up being a disaster (just in case you guys think this is the first time a crypto has done buybacks, it's NOT). It centralizes all the value inside of ICN. When you were getting dividends in Ethererum, your value was gained outside of the ICN network - which is good. Now if something goes wrong with ICN all value is going to be gone.
I guess you can just slowly sell your ICN as the price rises to avoid the risk..
Did the team said ICN value won't anymore be getting from the investments they are going to do in the next years? The buy back still is good and the ICN's value will still grow through the team investments. I think this will still be healthy for the investors and the team.
