in your conf file:
If staking=0 (off) that means the coins will not stake and you will not receive the stakes. If staking=1 (on) you will receive stakes from coins. Your wallet also has to be unlocked in order to stake coins.

Also make sure you do not have have masterconflock=0. If that is set you will not be able to stake your masternode rewards. Set masterconflock=1 to stake your masternode rewards.
