Tim & Jani made a crypto-trading/investing platform on ETH. A pretty neat setup. Not sure what Max is supposed to "learn" from that, but they are friends and Max already supports ICN. If the Lisk SDK had been ready, ICN would have been a Lisk Sidechain.
