Alts have a lot of potential right now.

Yes, due to the bitcoin hard fork debate, many people are shorting bitcoins and moving to altcoins. Whichever blockchain will be the main chain, it will benefit the bitcoin for good and also for mass adaption.

I do not trust alternative coins. Maybe I'm wrong. But I still do not sell bitcoin. I want to believe that bitcoitn will remain the leader

That's true bitcoin is a long term player and it will always win the race in future but there are few altcoins that can give us more money in quick time so I don't think that all alts are scam as if you invest in coins that are surviving from long time and it can give you good results.
