you may have killed it.
try 1 stick at freq 100 directly to the pi
see if it runs.
Yep, it does.
4 sticks on that hub is a lot of juice.
can you read the brick specs.
1 stick will pull 10 watts at freq 200
so if the brick reads 5v volts and 14 amps
it should be okay,
but if the brick reads 5 amps and 12 volts
some math 5 x 12 = 60 convert to 5v means 60 x .85 = 51 watts that is 12 to 5 volt
so 4 sticks at freq 200 = 10 watts x 4 = 40 watts
so you have a 51 watts brick maybe ? well seems good 24/7/365 means derate by 80% so 51 x 80% = 40.8 watts
so four sticks at freq 200 is pushing the brick hard as 40.8 is close to 40
and freq 250 would be over use of power.
I believe you killed off the brick..
Those hubs are supposed to good for 14A and 70 watts. By your math I should be in the green, right? Is there a better alternative that others are using? I have seen people referencing other hubs but all the ones I have seen for sale seem really low on amperage for what the 2Pacs call for (they seem to be aimed at the first-gen eruptors).
