read the brick specs  not the hub specs..

I believe the hub  can do 70 watts  but not the brick ( many  have burnt this out)

look at the brick numbers  amps and volts.

I'm not sure what you mean by "brick". Do you mean like a laptop power brick? If so it doesn't come with one. All it has is a two prong wire that goes to the wall (or in my case a UPS outlet). The only specs I see on it are the same as what's in the Amazon specs. The unit has power since the 2Pac's green lights do light up.

I'm in agreement with the hub being toast, I am just trying to figure out if I got a defective one and should exchange it or look for an alternative. All the specs I have seen say this hub should well support what the 2Pac's require.

Direct plug no external brick correct?

Okay 4 sticks

5 volts 14 amps = 70 watts.  X 80 %  = 56 watts 24/7/365.

That 80%. Is due to 24/7/365 run time.

So if they are accurate it can do 56 watts 24/7/365.

4 sticks at 200 freq pull around 40watts

What freq did you run at?

Yeah, and for $29.99, I am thinking that the components aren't meant for 24/7 draw to the max and even doubt it's scaled to 80% efficiency.  I have an Anker Hub rated at 60w, but the most amperage per port is .9 USB 3.0 standard.  I have 2 of them so I have backup as even with my Y-cables coming that will STILL only provide .9 +.5 (usb 2.0 power for second male), I am still a bit nervous pulling 1.4A x4 2Pacs, which MIGHT get me to 250MHz.  But that's the price you pay for science.  ;-)
