The problem with your thinking is that every cure is a God-cure. Why? Because, no matter how people manipulate the things of nature and the universe to effect a cure, God is the one Who placed everything there for mankind to manipulate. The God-made machinery of nature is far in advance of any machinery that man makes. The cures are ALL from God, first, and then they are simply manipulations of man. Even the prayer cure is simply a manipulation of man. God is the one Who makes all cures.

How about diseases and genetic disorders? Is he making them as well?

God is good, evil is bad, hallelujah, praise the lord, pass the collection tray, amen! LOL
God is a loving, giving God. He handles all creating and control except for the little free will that we have. When we ask Him for something by formal asking, or by attempting to get it, we are asking God for it. It is God that grants all things. When we ask for evil, since God is loving and giving, how can He change His nature and NOT give us what we ask for.
This is why Jesus God had to die a terrible death on the cross. It was the way to give man the thing that he asked for, while letting God die to maintain His holy, perfect, non-evil nature.
