To be honest I make myself the same question from time to time. There is no way to beat the house edge, so there is no real strategy to win.
I guess they use it to manage bankroll, and create a betting system. It will be easier to bet like that, and they can define their "exit strategy", to try to take advantage of a lucky session. I don't use a bot, but I would probably use it for those reasons.
