Now when i see Phoenix forged over 50000 Lisk already and gave 22% of that to the community I see how great the inflation is and the delegates are getting highly overpaid.
Almost 50k, not quite.
overpaid?  nah... This creates competition buying lisk delegate spots by buying at exchanges for voteweight and allows the community to foster sidechains in the beginning which is what it was meant for. Here is the distribution schedule:

The first year is 5 lisk per block
year 2 = 4 lsk/block
year 3 = 3 lsk/block
year 4 = 2 lsk/block
all remaining years = 1 lsk/block

As a delegate, it is my understanding that any delegate should be supporting and fostering the ecosystem (EARN YOUR VOTE) by helping dappers with forged funds, by hosting websites, offering open api nodes for the public, helping spread the word about lisk, writing tutorials, supporting testnet, hosting campaigns, (which I do all of these things), I even just gave away 1000 lisk a few days ago while I'm not even in the 101 and forging just to get people to sign up for the lisk newsletter; and I am actually a lisk alpha tester.
Other delegates even host explorers, provide scripts, and many of them are developing AWESOME sidechains.
When the SDK finally hits mainnet, and the appstore gets suddenly slammed with a dozen really cool apps, then you will understand what this payment system benefits were about. Many of us have been here over a year running testnet nodes before mainnet even began. Now here comes the whales....   and I'm out.
I have so many hours into supporting lisk over the past year +, it could be more than a full time job
The only way I can keep supporting Lisk at these levels is to forge again, so I humbly ask for votes!  Smiley
