I read this https://stratisplatform.com/2016/10/26/stratis-ceo-talks-value-stratis-weekly-2/ but still don't understand what the use case for the STRATIS token is.

What I understood is that the company behind Stratis is are a consulting and blockchain software development company. But I didn't understand why they need a Startis blockchain.

Does anyone know more?
