what's the problem if people are using fake names? They're called nicknames and were used since the beginning of the internet. Is Zuckerberg on some kind of power trip? Or he's out of the whole deal and people there are doing whatever they want?

I always thought that when people are forced to use their real name will be more careful what are they saying but it actually didn't change anything. People are still idiots Grin

LOL this sums it up. People already know their real life identities are attached to Facebook, yet people still put up pictures of stolen property, the commission of crimes, and other wonderfully bright shit such as this. I would get this for the point of tying each profile to a public identity, but, it would be pretty hurtful if someone stole your identity and did this under this scheme. People would assume it was you, since it was verified with your credentials, and it would be hard to present evidence otherwise. Unless they are going to go the Twitter verified way, they don't have the resources to implement something like this.
