Right now, in the public (and completely free) beta, anyone can add whatever prizes and use all in-game cards but we'll see if we can make it more clear in-game.

That's a known CSS bug, which will be fixed in due time. It wasn't a priority because while in Beta the rank selection is not relevant.Greets
