edit : I've done it!

I replaced the last command : sudo apt-get install bitcoin

With : sudo apt-get install bitcoin-qt

Simple in the end!

edit : beat me to it, haha! I just searched and found it via http://www.distrogeeks.com/install-bitcoin-qt-ubuntu/

Thanks for the help anyway. Now to download the blockchain all over again.
