Only using the bot for a short period now. Had a rough start but using the Telegram channel got me started. So far I have made a very, very small profit on the bot trades. That is due to an issue I have, Could be I'm expecting the bot to do something it is not and need to change some settings.
I'm noticing that the bot is not properly placing sells for the % i specify. For example, I have a buy level @ 1 and sell level @ 3. If I understand how this is suppose to work, the bot should place a sell for 3% more than I paid. The only pair that has bought and sold all coins is my GNT pair. The avg buy was 6423 and avg sell was only 6502. That is about .013 or 1.3%. The avg sell should have been 6615. Is this normal?
Another example of incorrect sell price. The bot has bought and sold all the BTS. Avg buy was 695 but the avg sell was onl 702. Basically 1%. Should be 3% or 718/719 btc based on what I have in the config. Is this normal or is something not right with my files?
If the bot was following my inputs, my returns would have been much better. The 3% sell levels were hit but the bot sold at 1%+/-.
I'm new to the program too, but as I understand it you have three buy levels and three sell levels, each level YOU set what that level actually means to the bot....you are defining each level. They are labeled like Buy level 1 or Sell level 1 etc. etc. and below that is Buy Level and Sell level<------no number in the name. These are the levels you are telling the bot to use in trading. So you define them in one area, then say which to use.
Check to see if you have defined each level like you want, then check to see what level you are telling the bot to use.
To keep it simple for my testing, I put 1 and 3 in the "buy level 1" and "sell level 1" and then left the "buy level" and "sell level" at 1/1. It should be selling my coins at a 3% increase from the purchase price if this is correct.. "first level margin to sell when currency increases its value (example: sell when currency increases 2% of paid)"
