I only have 3 active connections to the network. How can I increase the number of connections, and what will be the benefit of having more connections ? I am not mining, I just setup a basic configuration file containing only :
rpcuser=zcashrpc
rpcpassword=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
My guess is I have to add some nodes addresses in that file, but I'm not sure of this, and how to do it properly. Any advice is welcome.

Thanks Sonic, I added these in the zdash.conf file. Instead of 3 connections, there are now 4 or 5 active connections on average. This is not a lot.
It looks like most of those nodes above are either offline or unreachable at this time.
