So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?
I sometimes wait to go back up again and most of the times I cut the losses quickly. It depends on the technicals. But I try as much as I can to not panic sell.
Loses are really tough in the beginning. But they are a part of trading, so the way I got used to coping with loses is:
never invest an amount that I am not willing to lose. With good bankroll management rules, loses shouldn't affect you anymore, it will be just the cost of doing business (in case you have a trading strategy) or the cost of having fun (in case you are just gambling).
Try to imagine the sum of money that would feel uncomfortable to lose and then trade just a half of it. We all have different tolerance to the amount we are willing to lose.
