Is it too much to hope for that Apple allows Dash back on Jaxx? How can they justify allowing Zcash and not Dash? Maybe one the VCs behind Zcash lobbied Tim Cook?

There is no way to audit Zcash. It is entirely possible some person or agency can secretly generate an arbitrary number of coins. It is entirely possible some person or agency will soon discover a way to secretly generate an arbitrary number of coins.
