I do not judge people by their beliefs. Everyone is free to believe in what they want.
To me, there are good or bad people. Everyone can have different beliefs and ideologies.
This can not be a valid reason for me to hate them.
The problem is - these directives are not so clear for all Muslims. In fact they are often interpreted as being against basic rules of Islam.
Do you know how other religions are treated in Islamic countries? Go visit Saudi Arabia - where you can be killed for being non-Muslim.
Saudi Arabia is considered to be pinnacle of Muslim evolution, a model country other Islamic states should follow.
You're right. I would not want to live in an Islamic country. It is not possible for a non-Muslim to live in a country where people are killed by a sword. But not all Islamic countries are like that. For example, I was in Turkey last summer. Turkey is both a Muslim and a secular country. Many of my tourists were satisfied like me. But I'm happy to live in France
I live in Dubai which is a muslim country but its a very peaceful place to live as the govt policies are too strict that no one can afford to speak anything rubbish about any religion and if someone does then the govt will directly deport him to his home country.
Dubai is a different place. Not all Muslim countries are the same. Some Muslim countries have a system of secular rule, and some Muslim countries are implementing sharia laws. For example, there are executions in iran and saudi arabia. Saudi arabia is subject to death execution with sword.
