Russia can be brought down economically. Happened twice in the last 30 years, once with the URSS and once with Russia in 1998.

You are mistaken about Russia. The ongoing sanctions are having hardly any impact. It is true that the Russian economy has been hit hard by the low crude oil prices, but the economic growth has resumed after many months of contraction.
