I think it is  pretty much due to the name. Ark just sounds like it would be a legit coin.
ARK is seen as the 2nd generation of LISK.
People dont see any activity in LISK for a year and there comes ARK with its devs truly engaging with the community in their slack.

It is funny that ppl comparing ARK with Lisk these days. They are on different target and not compete each other. Lisk is javascript sidechain platform for bapps and ARK is smart bridge technology. Idk where they related. You guys should stop this non-sense here.
