So long and distant future, the year 2022, but since we are rapidly heading towards cashless socitey and new and very developed technologies I wouldn't be surprised. Bitcoin has very big chances to survive this turbulent period and become stronger and more powerful and thus even more accepted everywhere in the world.
What you are saying is possible, but not in a 4 to 5 years. 2022 is not so distant future, for everyone to get in touch with bitcoin need to pass minimum 20 years or even more I would say, and I take my conclusions from the observing of the people around me, they don`t wish any connections with something on the internet, they are old and only when new generations come we can expect everyone to use bitcoins, but even 20 years is a short period of time for changing generations.
I agree. People are a bit skeptic about btc and other currencies aside from fiat right now and until they themselves are able to feel the benefits that btc provides, they will continue to be skeptical about cryptocurrencies. Though I believe that in 5 years, btc would be widely known by almost everyone though not all will be confident in using it yet
