Wow...AMD has basically just released hot clocked refreshes of the old 470/480 series that are maybe 3-10% faster but use way more power
The RX580's look like they are using 60-100W more power than a 480 just to squeeze enough performance out to look better than a 1060 6GB
Now everyone can run out and get a new RX 580 card that requires more voltage, produces more heat and has higher power consumption.

They use a lot more. Maybe 50-100 is a bit high, but it looks like 30-60W easily enough
Go and read all of the reviews my friend. They use more volts to get higher clocks and hence draw a lot more power.
