Sorry if you find my question as novice, but I have been looking all around the forum and google and still I am not able to understand how to earn STRATIS. Can anyone help me and out and point me to the right direction?

I came to know about STRATIS at the New Delhi, India meet-up/conference.

You can buy STRATIS via various Cryptocurrency exchanges.
For example you can buy STRATIS via Bitcoin on https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_strat.

I don't know if you can buy STRATIS directly via FIAT.
You can buy Bitcoin with fiat on various platforms like Coinbase, Kraken, btc-direct etc.

I don't know what the easiest place is to buy BTC from when you are living in India.

Only option is to buy? Can't it be mined like other coins? I heard that if you keep your wallet open on your system, you can get credited automatically!
Isn't there any way to get STRATIS without investing money into it?

You are late!! Back when days of ICO, you could use via theviralexchange.com to accumulate. Now you have to buy 10k stratis put it on your wallet and start staking and may be earn .4 to .6 strats a day

You don't really need 10K at this moment. I only have around 1K coins and I'm also staking and earning 1 stratis every couple of days :-).
But you need some stratis before you can stake, it can't be mined!

Well it's all completely random and based on luck so. Are you sure your wallet is staking? At the bottom left corner, the second icon from the left. Hover over it and check what it says. It should say: 'Staking. Your weigh is....'

Yes,it is staking for sure, and everyday adds one more day to the reward.... staking since 13-4 :/ i feel so unlucky now....
