This post has really allayed my concerns on the project. My feeling was that they are created a self contained ecosystem and that is often turns into a pyramid scheme. But then I realized, that the system is only back-end and on ramps are as easy as a month subscription.
My other cocern was where the content comes from. It appears that they, at the onset, are going to appeal to the true cinema fan for independent content, short films, etc.
This is really the only way to start out because no one rid gives a fuck. As that community grows it will attract additional users and at some point they can transition into a mainstream content provider I have different plans that allow access to various types I content.
It is all very interesting and will be fun to follow over the next few years.
You're right, but I'm not selling until Steven Spielberg or Les Moonves takes notice.
