We recently bought 40 of these on newegg.ca, we were at first so happy about that purchase since it has 2 molex and 6 PCI-e.
We are still testing them, but so far we can only have 4 GPUs connections even if we tried this:

I looked, there is a bios update dated on March 30, we will see if it helps.
So far, we will have to send them back if the problem is not fixed.

that's why it's out of stock since the beginning on newegg.ca You can try to PM some people talked about this before, who said it's just plug and play, nothing else you need to do. Better to get detailed info about the rig parts. In another thread earlier today, it's reported only skylake but not kabylake supports 7 GPUs on MSI z170M5 board.
