Hi, anyone here able to get the new 1.0.1.8 to run on unix?

I compiled the source from here https://github.com/SyndicateLabs/SyndicateQT/releases/tag/v1.0.1.8

but when I run Syndicated getinfo, it still says 1.0.0.7 and it will not sync.
