Stationing all the aircraft near the Khmeimim airbase can be risky. There is no 100% guarantee that Trump will not attack the airbase, just because the Russians are there. The Syrians should better deploy their aircraft in 3-4 different locations.
I think that there is some secret agreement between Trump and Putin. Without consulting with the Russian Assad will not do any actions. I don't understand why Americans will not provide the rebels with portable anti-aircraft missile systems. Maybe it is time?You want to give MANPADS to the rebels? That will be disastrous.
