Actually it is cheaper to send via Paypal now than to send via bitcoin, at least domestically.

But overall I think bitcoin is still killing it, because it has gained so much adoption over the past few years.

Bitcoin is definitely exceeding paypal by a large margin on the gambling scene though because it is anonymous and easy to deposit and withdraw without having to worry about account limitation by paypal.
