I do not understand why I should compare these currencies. The dollar is for the government, and bitcoin is for the people. So it was from the very beginning of the existence of bitcoin. And bitcoin will never replace the dollar
Dollar is for the people also and it is the most popular currency in the world IMO, bitcoin is for the humanity but not all
will be able to adopt with it especially if it is not supported by the government.

They are both used by the people and I do not think that they are for the people.  Bitcoin is definitely created not for people but rather oppose the financial system where centralization is observed.  While USD is created so that government will have a distinction when it comes to currency.  I won't make this two compete since they have each features and advantages.  Beside we can always use both whenever we want.
I agree that bitcoin and usd have a different advantages and features and we don't need to compare the two and just use one of them because we can both use them in different instances like in investment and doing payment because most of the times usd is accepted as a payment while bitcoin has an advantage to pay in most of the online stores with a cheap fee and faster transaction, so we can see that they have differences and we don't need to remove one of them.

Precisely because bitcoin is made different I can freely choose the financial system that I use, if bitcoin is set, everyone's attention will return to fiat and the majority of bitcoin volume will shrink, so far I have the convenience to own and use both. But I also do not refuse if bitcoin will be regulated, we also need bitcoin recognized as legal tender.
